"   You are like a shining star

While I am like a dusky dawn,

Yet my stupid heart makes me think 

That I am rising sun in your lawn,

Like a daffodil you are dancing with the breeze 

As I  hope to be the part of it, 

You must not even knowing me but don't know why,

You are the only one which my heart rely upon.

 

I am like a dead of night wearing my masks to hide 

As darkness chaos feels so good inside, 

But the fact is, darkness is just the absence of light 

Yet some darkness never gets their light,

And I never knew that it's me and only me to hold this fight.

 

Darkness ends where light start, or light ends where darkness start 

I wondered about it every single day, 

And then I found the path to my destination, as it is on your way 

Here I finally found my light in you as my darkness faded away.   "

As you see I have uploaded my first poem so I am gonna explain a few things about it.

I know some of you might be curious to know what this poem is about, if there is a hidden meaning to it or not, how is the title and the poem related and so on.

• What is the real meaning of toska and how is it related to my poem?

Toska is actually a Russian word and the meaning of it is roughly related to painful, sadness, restlessness, nostalgia and many more negative emotions.

However, in English there is no perfect word that matches the depth of the real meaning.

Now how is it related to my poem:

As you read the poem, you will realize that it speaks about sadness and happiness combined.

It’s the combination of two opposite phrases like good and bad, happiness and sadness, positive and negative and so on.

 

• What is the meaning of this poem?

As you read it, you will come to know that it speaks about two strong emotions that everyone faces in every stage of his or her life.

The Two Strong Emotions are Happiness and Sadness. 

Where one can relate it with their own problems and find their own light within themselves or in someone else that helps them to move on through every obstacles.
